The Copyrights Group and Dolea Ltd are happy to announce the launch of a unique Paddington-themed recyclable drinking straw collection, that unlike traditional paper products won’t go soggy when sitting in a cold drink.
Following the UK’s decision to ban the use of single-use plastic straws, Dolea’s inventor, Mr. Mika Salomäki, embarked on a journey towards a plastic-free future by creating safe recyclable paper straws using no chemicals, including no glue.
Dolea’s unique production process enables a four-colour print on the straws, making them safe, as well as fun and long lasting for children.
This collaboration includes a series of bright and engaging collectable straws featuring a range of Paddington designs, whilst being kind to the environment.
This partnership aligns with Copyrights’ Bear Kind initiative inspired by one of Paddington’s core values of kindness, as it contributes to building a more sustainable and kinder world.
Mr Patrick Aberg, SVP Licensing at Dolea, says: “Who would be better for this unique product than Paddington. Sustainability is what we need to manage the future challenges and by partnering with such a well-known brand such as Paddington, it is a great way to ensure they also remain fun and engaging for fans.”
Henry Foulds, Head of New Business Development at The Copyrights Group, says: “We are delighted to be partnering with Dolea to offer this truly Bear Kind initiative to fans in the UK, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and we are sure they will prove to be very popular.”
